About Carolyn

I love what photography is, I love the memory that it lets us relive and the emotion that comes with it. I love the idea that a special moment can be captured forever. Who we are, who we once were can all be relived thru a photograph, forever.

My Passion for photography came at an early age. At age 10, my father worked for the government and traveled on business often, all across the world, he brought back these amazing portraits of his travels. They were breathtaking to me, at age 10 I could feel passion for this amazing image, a moment frozen in time.

Ever since then I have been the girl behind the camera, you will rarely see me in front of one! I am here to capture special moments for you. I am the luckiest women, to do what I do, and I love it!

At age 16 I knew I wanted to work only in photography, so I was hired by a nationwide portrait studio and worked with them for 7 years. After attending college, and furthering my education, I ventured out on my own and here we are.

I am married to Patrick, and we have 2 Amazing Children, Tyler and Hannah. Along with my assistant, Jennifer, we run Carolyn Welch Photography!
